End to end, from the idea into operations: requirements, architecture, delivery, release and handover to operations from one source, in one of these services or in several at once. For companies whose project needs technical leadership from outside, and for agencies that commission a clearly defined service for a client project.
Technical project lead
Planning and leading technical projects as an external provider, classic, agile or hybrid: scope, dates, budget, risks and alignment with all stakeholders, from kick-off through rollout and go-live to acceptance.
Product owner
Product management across the whole life cycle: from the idea through requirements management, roadmap and backlog to the release. The MVP first, so that it shows early what holds.
Tech lead
Technical guidance as an external provider for one or several cross-functional teams of development, operations and business analysis, also across several projects: architecture, quality, CI/CD and delivery, with agents if wanted.
Interim CTO
Technical guidance as an external provider: IT strategy, architecture and technology decisions, make or buy, tenders (RFP), assessment of vendors and a plan for building the team.

Architect, tech lead and a daily user myself.
I am Ludwig Oswald, a cloud and solution architect based in Munich. For more than ten years I have been responsible for architecture, teams and security in software projects, including automotive, mobility and medical technology.
I am currently CTO of a start-up whose development runs end to end with AI agents: fixed roles, a versioned rule set, gates in the pipeline and human approval. What I introduce for you, I use myself.

How is it billed?

Do you work on site?
I work from Munich and come to you when it serves the project, for example for workshops and alignment.
Do you also work through agencies?
Yes, as a freelancer under a project contract. I do not offer temporary agency work or permanent employment. Profile and project list are available on request.
